One to watch for 2009 could be Hawaiian-born Natasha Davies, a talented new singer-songwriter who is based in Eastbourne. She lists her influences on her MySpace as Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLaughlin, Bob Marley, and Damien Rice, while her voice is kind of Jewel meets Adele, which bodes well since the former is a songwriting legend and the latter has been mega-successful in both the singles and albums charts this year.
Check out some of her demos below, and add her to your MySpace!
If you've got time on your hands on Saturday mornings, why not listen to Adam and Joe's radio show on BBC 6 Music. They're two really funny guys, and their podcast is also well worth a download. Click below for all the details:

They've recently been running a competition where listeners create their own video for one of their songs. This video wasn't the official winner, but it's the best of the entries by a mile in our book! Check it out here:
We love this new song by Pink - it's amazing! Check out the lyrics below:
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
I guess I just lost my husband
I don't know where he went
So I'm gonna drink my money
I'm not gonna pay his rent (nope)
I got a brand new attitude
And I'm gonna wear it tonight
I wanna get in trouble
I wanna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
I wanna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
I wanna start a fight
So, so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And you're a tool
So, so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't want you tonight
Uh, check my flow, uh
The waiter just checked my table
And gave it to Jessica Simp... shit!
I guess I'll go sit with Tom boy
At least he'll know how to hit
What if this song's on the radio
Then somebody's gonna die
I'm gonna get in trouble
My ex will start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
He's gonna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
We're all gonna get in a fight!
So, so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And you're a tool
So, so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't want you tonight
You weren't there
You never were
You want it all
But that's not fair
I gave you life
I gave my all
You weren't there
You let me fall
So, so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done (we're done)
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright (I'm alright)
I'm just fine (I'm just fine)
And you're a tool
So, so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't want you tonight
No no, no no
I don't want you tonight
You weren't there
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And you're a tool
So, so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don't want you tonight

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemies' eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs a-singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you'd gone there was never, never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world
It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs a-singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs a-singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

Scott is by far the best DJ on radio at the moment. His drive-time show on BBC Radio 1 (every weekday between 4-7pm) is the most entertaining show around. There's always something new and funny going on, and it frequently has us in stitches (i.e. makes us laugh rather a lot!). If you want to find out for yourself - and we know that you will! - listen live on Radio 1 or online today.

Scott recently introduced a new singing sensation to the UK in the form of New Zealand songstress Wing. There is currently a high-profile Facebook campaign aiming to get her to number one in the charts in the UK (singing Mariah Carey's "Hero"). Discover the magic voice of Wing for yourself on YouTube as she sings ABBA's "Mama Mia" in her own unique way:
