Wed 11th July '01 - 19.05: As I told you yesterday, sir, Michael has discovered that recording has been going on and I have been relieved from my duties. That is, I have been sacked. I know I can't ask you to help me get my job back as I don't want you to be implicated, sir (although would you write me a reference for my Record of Achievement? Many thanks). I'll post some more stuff when I can, although I don't have access to a PC at home and I'm banned from all libraries in Derbyshire (for unpaid fines. Well, I'm not paying fines that are more than the mouldy books are worth in the first place!)
I hope you've got something to go on and that I've provided enough information. Be in touch soon, sir, won't you, especially r.e. the expenses monies that are still due. I'm going to miss working for you.
Yours faithfully as ever, Ed.
Fri 13th July '01 - 20.28: Hello again! I'm using my friend John's computer at his house. Just to keep you informed, I've been and signed on today. The lady at the Jobcentre enocouraged me to apply for a job (rather forcibly I feel) at a bike shop, called Alan's Cycle Shop. I've taken in the application form today.
Still no expenses money sir. Please would you let me have it ASAP as my rent is coming due next week. Many thanks - Ed.
