Vegetable Plot is the panel game where two teams of celebrities have to guess the plot of a book, film or TV show, from a description given by the opposing team. The twist is that all common and proper nouns (people, places and things) must be replaced by vegetables!

Hosted by Lester Bennett, it's the new fun vegetable-related panel game that everybody's talking about!

Hamlet:
"This is a story about a mashed swede who has been murdered by his potato. The mashed swede returns to haunt his weedy turnip, who seems to be in love with celery. It all takes place on a dark and stormy brussels sprout. The mashed swede begs his turnip in a hammy way to: 'Avenge my sweetcorn...'"

Les Miserables:
"There's an escaped cucumber who becomes cauliflower of a small town in northern Bean. He's a good cucumber really and makes a lot of peas. However, he finds that he's involved with an aubergine, who has a baby aubergine, who the cucumber adopts when her aubergine tragically dies..."

The Collected Works of William Shakespeare:
"Now, this is about 37 or so artichokes. They're incredibly famous and performed at places as diverse as Onion-upon-Sprout, and Parsnip..."

The Simpsons:
"This frozen pea features five beans: two big beans and three little beans. They're yellow, and one of the big beans has got a name like a Greek cabbage..."

Vegetables being sprayed earlier today...
all ready for the next Thursday night edition of Vegetable Plot!

The Viewers' Challenge is the round where you the viewer suggest a Vegetable Plot for the panel to guess. The plot should be fairly familiar and can be taken from anything with a plot, be it book, film, play, or, well, anything at all. We've had plots from every source, including Delia's 'How To Cook' and the experimental films of Derek Jarman!

When choosing vegetables for your plot, consider what's currently in season, or check out your local supermarket for inspiration. We're always keen to hear about new or little-talked-about vegetables, so you are welcome to send us a Vegetable Plot based entirely on crops that are local to you.

Send us a Vegetable Plot today, using the simple form below, and we'll post it here on the official website. Who knows, it may even be used on a future edition of the show!
